Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This policy covers the company website at digitalsoftwaregroup.co.uk. Each product we ship has its own privacy policy. For SocialSwift, see socialswift.co.uk/privacy-policy.

1. Who we are

Digital Software Group Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 17222056). Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller.

Contact: use the corporate enquiry form on this website.

2. What this site is

This is a company website. It describes Digital Software Group and links to our products. It does not provide product accounts, billing, or generation tools. If you use a DSG product, that product’s site and privacy policy apply to that use.

3. Personal data we collect

This website does not have user accounts. We may process:

  • Contact data — name, email address, optional company name, subject and message content if you use the enquiry form.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and server logs generated when you visit the site, including via our hosting provider.
  • Fonts — this site loads type from Google Fonts, which may process your IP address in accordance with Google’s policies.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use this website for advertising profiling.

Contact form enquiries

If you send a corporate enquiry we process your name, email address, optional company name, subject and message so we can read it and reply. The form is the only way this site collects contact details. We do not add you to a marketing list from this form.

Submissions are emailed to our company mailbox (currently accounts@digitalsoftwaregroup.co.uk) using the same email delivery service we use for SocialSwift operations. Replies come from that mailbox. We keep the correspondence in email as a business record.

A hidden field is used to reduce automated spam. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, a verification token is sent with the form so we can check you are not a bot.

4. Lawful bases

  • Legitimate interests — to operate and secure this website, respond to enquiries, and keep a record of company communications, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Contract or steps prior to contract — where you contact us about a product, partnership, or other arrangement.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with law.

5. Who we share data with

We use processors to host this site (Cloudflare Pages), to load fonts (Google Fonts), to deliver enquiry emails, and — when enabled — to run spam checks (Cloudflare Turnstile). They process technical data only as needed to provide those services. A current list of named processors is available on request.

We may disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer, with appropriate safeguards.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens we use safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, such as the UK IDTA or UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep data

Enquiry emails and related correspondence are kept while we handle the request and then for up to 24 months, unless we need them longer for a live matter, legal claim, or accounting record. Hosting logs are kept for a short operational period by Cloudflare, typically under 30 days.

8. Your rights

If you are in the United Kingdom you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Use the contact form on this website. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within one month.

9. Cookies

This company site does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use a cookie banner because we are not placing non-essential cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and network delivery. Google Fonts is loaded from Google’s servers. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site loads.

10. Children

This site is intended for a business audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.

12. Complaints

Contact us first using the form on this website. You may also complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint · 0303 123 1113.
